Presidential Dollars are a series of coins issued by the United States Mint, featuring portraits of the U.S. presidents. Launched in 2007, each coin honors a different president in the order they held office, starting with George Washington and continuing through the ranks. The reverse side of the coin depicts the Statue of Liberty, and the coins are minted in a golden hue. While they are intended for circulation, many collectors seek them out for their historical significance and the uniqueness of each president's depiction.
