Presidential Dollars are a series of coins issued by the United States Mint beginning in 2007, intended to honor each of the nation's presidents in the order they served. The 2009 coins feature the presidents William Henry Harrison, John Tyler, James K. Polk, and Zachary Taylor. Each coin is composed of a manganese-brass alloy, measures 26.5 mm in diameter, and showcases the portrait of the respective president on the obverse, with the inscription "In God We Trust" and the year of minting. The reverse depicts the Statue of Liberty and includes the inscriptions "United States of America" and "One Dollar." These coins are collected for their historical significance and numismatic value.
