San Francisco - Coins

Jefferson Nickels are a series of five-cent coins that have been produced in the United States since 1938. The 2021 San Francisco Jefferson Nickel features a design by Felix Schlag, which includes a portrayal of Thomas Jefferson on the obverse and his home, Monticello, on the reverse. Collectible versions, such as the proof and uncirculated coins minted at the San Francisco facility, often have distinct finishes and are sought after by numismatists.
