Peace Dollars are a series of silver coins issued by the United States from 1921 to 1935, commemorating the end of World War I. The 1922 Peace Dollar is notable for its design by Anthony de Francisci, featuring a depiction of Lady Liberty on the obverse and an eagle on the reverse. The Denver Mint produced a limited number of these coins, making them more sought after by collectors. The denomination of four dollars, however, does not apply to Peace Dollars, as they were struck as one-dollar coins.
