Philadelphia - Coins

The 2001 Philadelphia Statehood Quarters are part of the United States Mint's 50 State Quarters program, which began in 1999. These quarters feature designs representing each state, with five states being issued each year for ten years. The 25-cent coins from 2001 include the quarters for New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Kentucky. The Philadelphia Mint produced these coins with an "P" mint mark, distinguishing them from those minted in Denver, which bear a "D" mint mark.
