1999 - Coins

The Statehood Quarters program, launched by the United States Mint in 1999, features a series of coins that commemorate the admission of each U.S. state into the Union. Each quarter design represents the unique heritage, history, or symbols associated with that state. The 25-cent coins are produced in rolls, and collectors often seek these rolls for their numismatic value as well as for the specific state designs. The series was completed in 2008, covering all fifty states and becoming one of the most popular coin collection initiatives in American history.
