The 1992 Lincoln Cent with a Memorial Reverse is part of the United States Mint's series celebrating the life of President Abraham Lincoln. This coin features the obverse image of Lincoln and a depiction of the Lincoln Memorial on the reverse. The Memorial Reverse design was introduced in 1959 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Lincoln's birth. The 1992 edition, composed primarily of copper-plated zinc, was struck at various mints, with errors and variations such as the close and wide AM in "America" making certain coins more collectible among numismatists.
