Morgan Dollars were minted in the United States from 1878 to 1904 and again in 1921. The 1895 Morgan Dollar, particularly the New Orleans mint version, is highly sought after by collectors due to its limited mintage and historical significance. While 1895-P (Philadelphia mint) is well known for being scarce, the 1895-O (New Orleans mint) is rarer and increases its value considerably within the collectible market. The coin features George T. Morgan's design, which includes an image of Lady Liberty on the obverse and an eagle on the reverse.
