Philadelphia - Coins

The 2006 Lincoln Cent is a one-cent coin produced by the United States Mint at its Philadelphia facility. It features the iconic Lincoln portrait on the obverse and the shield design on the reverse, which was introduced in 2010 as part of the ongoing redesign of the cent series. The Wheat Reverse design, used from 1909 to 1958, is not present on the 2006 coin, as it has transitioned away from the earlier design.
