1947 50c

Coin / United States of America / 1947 / Philadelphia / Walking Liberty Halves / 50c

This is the final year of issue out of the Philadelphia Mint for the Walking Liberty Half Dollar Series. Ending the series makes this a very popular type coin. It is also common with just the finest MS67 being slightly scarcer than other 1940’s issues from the same Mint. The 1947’s come well struck with quality luster.
