The 1945-D Lincoln cent is common in all grades through MS66, scarce in MS67, and extraordinarily rare in MS68. As there are thousands of Gem specimens available, buyers have room to be choosy when purchasing Mint State 1945-D Lincoln cents and should look for pieces with strong strike, good color, and few contact marks.
