The 1942-S is tougher than most 1940s Walkers as a gem. They are accessible in Mint State up to and including MS66, with MS67s being very rare and much more valuable. Major warning that the strikes for this date are very weak with rare strongly struck pieces bringing premiums. Libertys left hand is almost certain to lack complete detail. Although quality white luster is not a problem for this date.
