The 1939-S Mercury dime is a very common coin in all worn grades and is plentiful through MS66. Pieces with Full Bands details represent the minority of known uncirculated specimens but are not necessarily scarce. They’re common at least through MS65, with pieces grading MS66 and higher somewhat scarce but available for a price.

IN GOD WE TRUST appears left of the neck and the date is positioned just below the bust around 5 o'clock. The designer's initials "AW" appear to the right of the neck.
