1939-D 50c

Coin / United States of America / 1939 / Denver / Walking Liberty Halves / 50c

Similar to the 1939, the 1939-D is the most common date of its decade, of those minted in Denver. The 1939-D is plentiful in Mint State grades all the way through MS67. MS68 is actually very rare as there are just a handful of this finest grade in existence. The issue is attractive as it is known to have a decent strike and strong white luster.
