The 1939-D Lincoln cent, like so many other late-1930s branch-mint pennies, is extremely common in all grades through MS66. At the grade threshold of MS67 offerings become a little scarcer, and higher-grading examples are rare. But supplies are adequate to satisfy the average collector.
