1936-S 10c

Coin / United States of America / 1936 / San Francisco / Mercury Dimes / 10c

The 1936-S dime is an extremely common coin in all grades through MS67. Many were struck with excellent details, lending to a relatively high number of Full Bands survivors even in the Gem grades. As with many other Mercury dimes struck in the mid 1930s, collectors have plenty of opportunities to be choosy, selecting a top-grade example with outstanding strike, color, and luster.
