From this year to the end of the series, the 1935-S is the rarest Mint State Walker. A relative rarity as it is not simply rare but just tougher to locate than other coins from 1935 to 1947. This issue is very common, as circulated pieces go, through MS63. After which point it begins to climb the scarcity ladder from MS64 through MS66. The small amount of existing MS67s are very rare. It is known to have both a strong strike, unusual for Walkers out of San Francisco, and luster.
