1935 50c

Coin / United States of America / 1935 / Philadelphia / Walking Liberty Halves / 50c

This is one of the most common Walking Liberty Half Dollars of this decade. With a hefty mintage of over 9 million, coins below AU are worth no more than the silver content. It is extremely common up to the gem level and remains quite plentiful in MS65 and MS66; yet scarce in MS67 and very rare in MS68, as very few exist that fine. This issue is known to have above average luster but a below average strike.
