The 1934-D is one of the far scarcer dates minted in Denver with its scarcity being quite underrated. Luster is fantastic for this issue. However, striking is not as good as the Philadelphia minted issues making fully struck pieces worth a premium. Scarce in all grades with a rarity jump in gem condition as MS66 is very scarce and MS67 is extremely rare.
