1934 50c

Coin / United States of America / 1934 / Philadelphia / Walking Liberty Halves / 50c

The 1934 is the first issue in the Walking Liberty Half Dollar Series that is considered very common. There is no scarcity of this date through MS66. So low-end gems are plentiful and affordable. MS67 is only slightly scarce and MS68 is truly scarce; although both are relatively easy to locate. This Philadelphia issue is not known for its rarity but rather its beauty; as these coins come with high-quality luster and a very strong strike.
