1931-D $20

Coin / United States of America / 1931 / Denver / $20 Saint Gaudens Gold / $20 (Twenty Dollars)

The 1931-D is one of the rarest of all Saint-Gaudens $20s. Yet, like the other post-1928 Saints, virtually all are known in uncirculated grades ranging from about MS60 to MS65. A handful of examples in the MS66-and-higher range have traded hands at auction over the years, and these take solid six-figure prices.
