The 1929-D Mercury dime is common in all grades up through MS66. However, better-grade specimens pose some serious challenges that remind buyers this is a pre-1934 branch-mint coin a group of coins known for their scarcity. Many excellent examples realize significant premiums and are coveted by registry set collectors.
