This Denver-mint issue is a widely available in circulated grades and can be found with relative ease through MS64, including specimens with Full Bands. In grades of MS65 and above, the 1927-D Mercury dime becomes much more challenging and is exceptionally rare in MS66 or better.

IN GOD WE TRUST appears left of the neck and the date is positioned just below the bust around 5 o'clock. The designer's initials "AW" appear to the right of the neck.
