Like most other early S-mint Mercury dimes, the 1920-S is generally common in the lower circulated grades, more difficult in XF or better, and scarce in uncirculated grades. There are relatively few pieces in Gem. As high-end 1920-S dimes do present collectors such challenges, when examples do hit the market they often command strong premiums.
