1919-S 50c

Coin / United States of America / 1919 / San Francisco / Walking Liberty Halves / 50c

This date is scarce in all grades and especially rare in higher grades but not nearly as much in comparison to other Walking Liberty Half Dollars. Only 4 other issues are more challenging to locate in circulated condition. Surprisingly, as a gem coin, it does not make the top 10 for rarity in the series. The 1919-S exists up to grades as fine as MS67, which is very rare.
