1918-S 50c

Coin / United States of America / 1918 / San Francisco / Walking Liberty Halves / 50c

This date is extremely common in most circulated grades and up to MS64, which is nearly scarce. At all grades higher than MS64, the 1918-S is a gem condition rarity with astronomical price jumps. Although very difficult to find, with nice luster, this issue can be found with an array of different toning. It is important to note that a weak strike is nearly guaranteed with this issue. The finest known grade is MS66 and is very rare.
