1918 50c

Coin / United States of America / 1918 / Philadelphia / Walking Liberty Halves / 50c

The 1918 is a more common date yet surprisingly, circulated pieces are not easily found. This date comes with a strong strike like most issues from this mint but, uniquely, it is more susceptible to toning than most other Walkers. Certainly a scarcer coin in Mint State grades, the 1918 is only rare in any sense in its finest known grade of MS66.
