1917 Mercury dimes are common in all grades, even in lower uncirculated grades. However, it is somewhat rare in Gem grades, particularly above MS66. The 1917 Philadelphia Mercury dime is generally well struck, with many pieces exhibiting Full Bands details, attractive finish, and nice luster.

IN GOD WE TRUST appears left of the neck and the date is positioned just below the bust around 5 o'clock. The designer's initials "AW" appear to the right of the neck.
