The 1916-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar is a much tougher date, coming from a mintage of only 508,000, in which only 3 other dates in the series are lower. All grades are uncommon but become quite scarce in the MS60 to MS65 range. Mint State examples of this date are known to be fairly well struck with average luster. MS66s are rare with just a couple of MS67s that are extremely rare.
