1915 $2 1/2

Coin / United States of America / 1915 / Philadelphia / $2.50 Indian Gold / $2.50 (Two and a Half Dollars)

Since the first issue in 1908, this 1915 is of the far most common dates in the Indian Quarter Eagle series. This date makes a very proper type coin considering the amount available in mint state grades and the coloring, luster and strike are all quite sufficient. Like any other issue of this series high grade gems seem to be few and far between.
