1899 5c

Coin / United States of America / 1899 / Philadelphia / V-Nickels / 5c

The 1899 V Nickel is the highest mintage so far in the series with over 26 million coins struck. It is very common from circulated grades up to and including MS65, leaving just the finest of gems with any scarcity at all. An ideal type coin as it is affordable. However, just be aware of striking issues as most are solid strikes; but, some weaker pieces can get in the way of collectors.
