1895-S $1

Coin / United States of America / 1895 / San Francisco / Morgan Dollars / $1 (One Dollar)

All 1895-dated Morgan dollars are scarce, and they are also among the top of the most-wanted list by collectors. These 1895-S Morgan dollars are extremely scarce in any grade, and especially so in the MS levels. The number of survivors drops off steeply above MS64, with MS65s considered rare and MS66s exceedingly rare. PLs and DMPLs are rare in any grade, yet there are a few examples of either known in the MS65 or better grades.
