1892-O $1

Coin / United States of America / 1892 / New Orleans / Morgan Dollars / $1 (One Dollar)

As with many New Orleans Morgan dollars, the 1892-O is not necessarily known for its deep, bold strikes. This leaves much to be desired for the collector who wants Gem specimens, which are available but very scarce. While this issue can be found with ease in MS64, it is very scarce in MS65 and exceedingly rare in MS66 or better. PLs and DMPLs are also very scarce across the uncirculated spectrum, with Gems all but esoteric.
