1890 $1

Coin / United States of America / 1890 / Philadelphia / Morgan Dollars / $1 (One Dollar)

The 1890 Philadelphia Mint Morgan dollar is a common coin in circulated and lower uncirculated grades, only becoming scarce in the Gem levels, where MS65 examples prove quite challenging. Availability suddenly drops off in MS66, where this piece is exceptionally rare. PLs and DMPLs are scarce in all grades though extremely rare in the Gem levels.
