The 1889 Three Cent Nickel is the final year of issue for the series and the denomination as a whole. For that reason, it is a desirable type coin. With a mintage of 3,436 coins, it is common through MS66. It is scarce at MS67; and, anything finer would be considered rare. Cameos bring a modest premium with increased rarity and demand coming from deep cameos.
