Only the 1885 has a lower mintage than the 1884 Three Cent Nickel Issue, with a mintage of just 1,700 coins. A rare coin in all grades starting in the VF range. Very scarce from VF into Mint State. By MS64 it becomes an extreme rarity with gems being incredibly hard to find as only a handful exist.
