1881-O $1

Coin / United States of America / $1 (One Dollar) / Morgan Dollars / 1881 / New Orleans

The 1881-O Morgan dollar is extremely common in circulated grades and remains widely available through about MS65, though above that point becomes scarce, as do most O-mint Morgans; pieces grading above MS66 are true rarities. PLs and DMPLs appear with some frequency in the lower MS levels but are downright rare in MS65 or higher.
