1863 3cS

Coin / United States of America / 1863 / Philadelphia / 3-Cent Silver / 3cS

With just 21,000 coins struck in 1863, this is a very scarce Three Cent Silver Issue. This date is tough to find at any grade level but true scarcity starts in Mint State. MS64 through MS66 are very scarce and come right before a large price jump. MS67 and finer are extremely rare. Just be on the lookout for weak strikes.
