Perforated with a cicular hole prior to striking. These patterns have a central perforation. The perforations on various specimens are not completely circular, but are irregular. It is likely that the planchet itself was perforated with a circular hole prior to striking, then during the striking process, the metal movement caused the edges of the perforation to become irregular in shape. J-119, J-121, and J-123 are perforated. J-120, J-122, and J-124 are unperforated.
