The undated Parsons & Company quarter eagles depict a quartz stamping mill on the obverse, possibly based upon the Gates & Company machinery owned by the Quincy Mining Company, in which Parsons was a partner. The reverse depicts a federal eagle, the legend PIKES PEAK GOLD, and the denomination. Of the six known pieces, only one example an original choice AU that was part of the Garrett collection remains in private hands.
